I got my OAGB surgery done on September 22. I weighed 157kg then and I was suffering from some problems like BP, sleep mapping etc. I lost 82 kgs and came down to 75 kgs. My weight has not risen since then. It may come back by one or two kgs, but I am managing my diet and I return to the same weight within one week. Currently, I am at 75 KG since one year and I manage my diet plan. I am not getting time to exercise due to work so I manage my diet and calories according to this procedure, which helps you maintain your weight.

I am Devashish Singh. I was treated for morbid obesity and sleep apnoea under the guidance of Dr Sandeep Aggarwal Sir and Dr Vinish Sir and I cannot thank them enough. Earlier, I was not even able to walk 50 steps and climb five steps as I used to weigh 164 kgs and was suffering from sleep disorder. The team made sure that everything went smoothly in my process. I got admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi on June 14 and I was operated on 5th July. During this time, I followed a strict diet as advised by dietician Richa mam. I lost 14.6 kgs before my surgery. Now I was able to walk 8000 steps and could climb four floors all by myself. Something I could never imagine I would be able to do in my life. Moreover, the constant check-up and monitoring by the nursing staff and resident doctors made me feel at home. The way they motivated me and took care of me, I cannot thank them enough. And on the big day, 5th July, my surgery went as planned. I was discharged two days after my surgery from the hospital. Now I am walking and recovering way too fast with a positive intent to become a new version of myself and face the world. Once again, I would like to thank all the doctors, nursing staff, housekeeping staff, dietician, surgeons for the constant support and help. Thank you.
